Retail Merchandising Support Associate, Polaris - Full Time

Job Overview

As a Merchandising Colleague - also known as a Front of House Colleague - you’ll play a critical role in delivering a seamless, inspiring in-store experience. You will be responsible for executing merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhancing the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintaining well-organized and shoppable displays, and ensuring that pricing and promotional signage is accurate and up to date. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact our customers’ experience.

How Our Merchandising Colleagues Spend Their Day

• Greet customers with genuine hospitality and offer assistance to ensure they feel seen, supported, and valued.
• Support visual merchandising by updating mannequins, resetting floor layouts, and aligning presentation with company directives.
• Create a welcoming, friendly environment for customers and colleagues, fostering meaningful conversations and connections.
• Listen to customers' needs, provide thoughtful assistance, and create customer relationships to bring them back.
• Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, replenishing merchandise, and supporting any needed merchandise moves.
• Share our Loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you.
• Tie up loose ends by reorganizing the department, restocking merchandise, and preparing the space for a successful tomorrow.

Who You Are

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Able to create connections with customers, help the store achieve sales goals, and participate in sales-boosting events.
• Able to learn about products in the store and give expert guidance to customers based on their wants, features, and choices.
• Able to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
• Able to effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
• Able to work seamlessly with colleagues at all levels and across departments to drive sales and elevate the customer experience.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• Lifting up to 50lbs.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Reaching, including above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
