About the Role

As a Merchandising Colleague - also known as a Front of House Colleague - you'll play a critical role in delivering a seamless, inspiring in-store experience. You will be responsible for executing merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhancing the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintaining well-organized and shoppable displays, and ensuring that pricing and promotional signage is accurate and up to date. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact our customers' experience. You'll be a visible and welcoming presence on the floor, greeting customers with genuine hospitality and offering assistance to ensure they feel seen, supported, and valued. Collaboration is key to this role. You'll work closely with colleagues across departments to meet shared goals, support sales, and contribute to a culture of hospitality, positivity and making every customer feel welcome by greeting them with a smile and offering your help whenever needed.

What You'll Do

  • Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact, wearing your name badge with pride, greeting teammates with a warm hello, and helping ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
  • Support visual merchandising by updating mannequins, resetting floor layouts, and aligning presentation with company directives - setting the tone for an impactful shopping experience
  • Focus on the customer - offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations while actively listening to their needs and providing thoughtful assistance to create customer relationships that bring customers back
  • Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, replenishing merchandise, and supporting any needed merchandise moves
  • Share Loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you
  • Collaborate with the team to tie up loose ends - reorganizing the department, restocking merchandise, and preparing the space for a successful tomorrow
  • Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities
  • Strive to improve every day, take pride in your work, achieve sales goals and learn from others to deliver individual and store results

  • Able to work seamlessly with colleagues at all levels and across departments to drive sales and elevate the customer experience

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
  • Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting up to 50lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions

Schedule

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.
