Retail Merchandising Specialist (Food Broker)

Our Retail Merchandisers are professional ambassadors who help bring our client’s food to grocery store shelves. In this independent role, you will learn about products, customers, and how we achieve sales growth through flawless execution of a merchandising plan. While we welcome industry knowledge, no prior experience is required—just a love for food, learning, new challenges, and working with people.

Responsibilities

• Travel to retail locations to execute merchandising plans.
• Merchandise brands through:
  • Plan-O-Gram execution
  • Shelf space management
  • Promotional, pricing, and new item placement compliance
• Place weekly orders to maintain product stock and maximize sales.
• Conduct store visit recaps and follow-ups.
• Develop, support, train, and implement merchandising directives.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with store staff and managers.
• Provide ongoing feedback on store-level performance.
• Monitor and report competitor activity at the store level.
• Manage the effective integration and utilization of Affinity technology systems and platforms.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 lbs to shoulder height unassisted.
• Perform floor stock rotations of refrigerated and frozen food items in cooler and freezer cases.
• Inspect and move product in cooler, freezer, and storage areas.
• Reliable transportation for daily visits to store/venue locations.

Pay

$19–$24 per hour, based on experience.
