Retail Merchandising Specialist

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS - Use an iPhone 11 or newer, Android - Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift

Requirements

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling)
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

$19-$22 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)
