Retail Merchandiser Team Lead

About the role

Provide in‑store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. You will also support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product displays and end caps.
• Reset shelves and rotate products to keep inventory fresh.
• Track inventory levels and report findings to maximize sales opportunities.
• Assist leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding of new hires.
• Use a smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift.
• Maintain a safety‑first mindset in a retail environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical work: moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lb.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Experience leading and training people.
• Proficient with a smartphone or tablet for shift documentation.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated self‑starter with a strong bias for action and results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
