Retail Merchandiser (Outer Banks)

About the role

As a Swing Merchandiser, you will merchandise products by stocking shelves, rotating stock, setting up displays, organizing coolers and backrooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor. You will also accurately order product for the next delivery.

Responsibilities

• Fill and merchandise all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Sell and execute all promotions.
• Create and utilize point-of-sale signage.
• Develop good customer relations and service all customers as scheduled.
• Order product and/or run invoices.
• Clean equipment, maintain backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotate stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Willingness to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Customer-oriented and focused.
