Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in peak condition.
• Repair and replace powertrain components, transmissions and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering professional advice on vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, electrical systems. Diesel engines experience a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics interpretation, and electronic testing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, vehicle maintenance, and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
• Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver quality service under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is advantageous.

Pay

$765.00 - $1,300.00 per week
