About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year at a highly rated school district in the Langdon, NH area.

The special education teacher provides direct instruction and case management services with caseloads of approximately 15-18 students. Each special educator co-teaches one block of a core subject, co-teaches another block of a skills class, has one block for case management duties (e.g., paperwork), and one block for lesson planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities
• Manage caseloads of 15-18 students
• Co-teach one block of a core subject and one block of a skills class
• Handle case management duties, including paperwork
• Dedicate time to lesson planning
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in the IEP process

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong understanding of the IEP process

Contract and Pay

You have the option of working as a 10-99 contractor for higher hourly pay or as a W2 employee with the following pay and benefits:

• $50.00 - $54.00 per hour, based on candidate experience
• Benefits included for W2 employees
