About the role
Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
- Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customers per operating procedures
- Promote credit and loyalty programs
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and standards
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and entire store
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding to unexpected situations
- Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Works effectively with peers and supervisors
- Retail customer experience preferred

Pay
Starting pay range: $14.50 to $15.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
