Retail Merchandise Associate

About the role

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer service principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Supports operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, with potential cross-training across store areas to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Model excellent customer service and foster a positive store culture based on honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Process transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising procedures and prepare merchandise for display.
• Participate in store recovery, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organizational standards.
• Support shrink reduction initiatives and adhere to safety policies.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and lift heavy objects with or without accommodations.
• Effective teamwork with peers and supervisors.
• Retail experience preferred.
