About the role
The Retail Manager role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).
Responsibilities
- Manage store operations, including inventory, staffing, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth store operations and customer service.
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
- Manage employee schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
- Participate in store events and promotions to increase sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of retail management experience.
- Proven ability to manage teams and lead change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
