Retail LeadReports to: Store Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Retail Location: 28970 Hayes Rd, Roseville, MI 48066 Position Summary:The Retail Lead supports the daily operations of the dispensary by guiding team performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance and organization throughout the sales floor. This role bridges the gap between team members and store management and plays a key role in delivering a positive, educational, and compliant customer experience.Responsibilities:Must be able to open and close the store in accordance with company policyResponsible for overseeing daily dispensary floor operations and ensuring staff are supported and efficientMust be able to verify allotments, guide patients through product selection, and deliver exceptional serviceResponsible for mentoring and training Budtenders and delegating tasks as neededMust ensure product displays are clean, properly labeled, rotated, and fully stockedResponsible for handling customer concerns, assisting with de-escalation, and supporting team performanceMust operate point-of-sale systems accurately and assist with daily cash reconciliationRequired to maintain a clean, compliant, and professional retail environmentMust support management with team communication, scheduling, and daily feedbackSupervisory Responsibilities:Supervises Budtenders and retail team members during scheduled shiftsProvides real-time coaching and supports training initiativesQualifications:1+ year of customer service or cannabis retail experience required1+ year of leadership experience preferredStrong communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skillsWorking knowledge of cannabis products, POS systems, and customer service best practicesAbility to stand for extended periods (3+ hours) and lift up to 50 poundsReliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent license) if required by state regulationsEducation and Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredNo specific certifications requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout scheduled shiftsMust be able to lift and move merchandise up to 50 poundsAbility to operate computers, POS systems, scanners, and standard retail equipmentWork Environment:Work is performed in a licensed retail dispensary environmentExposure to varying noise levels, customer interaction, and cannabis-related odorsPPE may be required depending on task or department supportTravel Requirements:None.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:Mint Cannabis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
