Retail Lead

Position Summary

The Retail Lead plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Mint Cannabis’ dispensary. This position serves as the go-to resource for team members on the floor — ensuring compliance, maintaining flow, driving customer satisfaction, and assisting with leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Support daily dispensary operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Lead by example on the sales floor — greeting guests, answering questions, and verifying allotments
• Train, coach, and inspire Budtenders to deliver top-tier service and product knowledge
• Ensure accurate inventory management, compliance documentation, and display presentation
• Handle customer escalations with professionalism, empathy, and composure. Operate the POS system, assist with cash handling, and maintain financial accuracy
• Communicate effectively with management to ensure smooth operations and goal alignment
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and state cannabis regulations

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in cannabis, retail, or customer service
• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, training, and conflict-resolution skills
• Working knowledge of cannabis products, brands, and compliance guidelines
• Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card per Missouri state law
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Able to operate a vehicle and have reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
• Ability to pass physical requirements including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, manual dexterity, and visual acuity for product handling and transactions
