Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time), Customer Experience Operations

About the role

This role is available at Amazon's Locker+ retail locations and involves interacting with customers, managing inventory, and contributing to the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by using customer engagement strategies and modeling desired behavior.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count products.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback on processes and standards, and serve as the escalation point for resolving customer issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations by developing best practices.
• Identify and communicate barriers and trends affecting the customer and associate experience, and support the manager in building a strong site culture.
• Maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site under the guidance of a manager.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing, and descending stairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of retail or customer-facing experience, or 1 year of floor leader or leadership experience, or 1 year of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Pay

Starting pay is $18.05 per hour, with the potential for shift differential, totaling up to $18.05 per hour.
