About the role

As a Key Holder, you will support delivering the sales plan through effective execution of store and operational tasks. Store leaders are retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors who thrive on connections with customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in company values and product knowledge.
• Set direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Perform opening and closing routines, including bank deposits, receipt of shipments, and dissemination of company directives.
• Create genuine connections with customers by uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Drive rewards program enrollment and engagement on the sales floor and at checkout.
• Assist with floorset execution, window changes, visual presentation, and marketing placement as needed.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and visual standards by adhering to all safety expectations.
• Engage in constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling to obtain products and maintain store appearance.
• Lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
• Ability to thrive in a customer-first retail environment.
• Demonstrated sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates and de-escalate store or customer situations.
• Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
