About the role

SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L’Oréal USA, is the premiere wholesale distributor in the United States of the finest salon professional beauty brands. We are seeking a Part-Time Key Holder (Retail Sales Associate) who has a passion for people and delivering exceptional customer service, a love for hair and beauty products, and a desire to become an expert in the industry through continuous education and training.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to salon professionals.
• Sell professional beauty brands and educate customers on promotions, sales events, and advertised products.
• Process and replenish merchandise, prepare for and participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Maintain store appearance and process sales and return transactions.
• Gain essential product knowledge and share beauty industry trends with customers.
• Work collaboratively in a positive team environment to achieve goals and priorities.
• Commit to excellence and pursue growth and development opportunities.
• Act with integrity at all times.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Retail or related experience strongly preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to use a computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends as required by availability guidelines.
• 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent GED (preferred).
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required; no immigration support/sponsorship is offered for this role.

Pay

Salary range: $25.90 – $28.80 per hour.
