About the role

As a Key Holder at Bath & Body Works, you will support delivering the sales plan through effective execution of store and operational tasks. Our store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team: retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors who thrive on connections with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
  • Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in company values and elevated product knowledge.
  • Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
  • Perform opening and closing routines, including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and dissemination of company directives.
  • Create genuine connections with customers by uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
  • Assist with floorset execution, window changes, visual presentation, and marketing placement as needed.
  • Maintain physical activity standards, including standing, walking, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing ladders, and bending to obtain products and maintain store appearance.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and maintain company values, policies, and procedures.

  • Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates and de-escalate store and customer situations.
  • Availability to work peak days and times, including varied shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
