Retail Key Holder, East Pasadena #454

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a motivated individual to support our Retail Operations team by opening and closing the store, driving sales, and delivering excellent customer service in the absence of management.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of products and services
• Open and close the store, including early arrivals and late departures
• Assist during high-volume periods and support new employees
• Recommend in-house products to customers based on knowledge of inventory
• Manage inventory tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies
• Process cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensure price and quantity accuracy; provide customer receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and enforcing security procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Requirements

• 1+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak hours
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay

USD $19.22/hr for Pasadena, CA. Compensation is based on market pricing, cost of labor index for the geographic area, and job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
