About the Role
We are in search of a part-time Sales Lead ready to contribute to our continuous expansion across the United States. This person will be responsible for store opening and closing operations, ensuring that all store operations are occurring as expected, and providing a great in-store experience. The position reports to and receives functional guidance from the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the sales floor of POP MART employees by setting expectations, goals, and motivating the team.
- Act as the leader on duty in the store when the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager are not present, focused on delivering results while enabling a positive customer and employee experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products.
- Lead the store to meet standards that reflect the company brand image, values, and culture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on POP MART core business information including characters, products, and company history.
- Support company marketing events such as in-store events, pop-up events, conventions, and new store openings.
- Support the company’s RoboShop business as needed and follow up with in-store RoboShop employees and business partners.
- Improve sales performance of stores and meet sales key performance indicators such as store conversion, units per transaction, dollars per transaction, and store sales trends.
- Drive sales of company key products such as Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories.
- Execute Visual Merchandising and Marketing directives from business partners while attending weekly calls (installation of marketing decals, props, set up new merchandising planograms, and set up marketing fixtures).
- Remerchandise the sales floor based on product sell-through or slow-moving product, making strategic decisions that align with business needs.
- Work closely with Inventory ASM to determine back-of-house and warehouse inventory levels.
- Responsible for back-of-house organization, inventory management, receiving/transferring of goods, and weekly/quarterly inventory auditing.
Requirements
- Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver a great customer experience.
- More than 1 year of store retail experience; supervisor or leader experience preferred.
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
- Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives.
- High School Diploma.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Required to work specific days of the week depending on Visual/Inventory Management responsibilities.
