About the role

As a Key Holder, you will support delivering the sales plan through effective execution of store and operational tasks. Store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team: retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors who thrive on connections with customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager, including acting as manager on duty to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in company values and elevated product knowledge.
• Display knowledge of product, company policies, and store strategies.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Perform opening and closing routines, including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and dissemination of company directives.
• Create genuine connections with customers by uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Drive rewards program enrollment and engagement on both the sales floor and at checkout.
• Assist with floorset execution, window changes, visual presentation, and marketing placement as needed.
• Maintain the visual appearance of the store, including climbing ladders, lifting, reaching, bending, and kneeling to obtain products.
• Consistently lift 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to all safety standards and expectations to provide the safest, cleanest, and most engaging experience.
• Maintain company values, policies, and procedures.
• Available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates and de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Thrives in a customer-first retail environment and fosters a customer-focused selling culture.
