Retail Key Carrier Supervisor

Job Description

The Key Carrier role at HomeGoods is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers alternate between these roles based on store needs, primarily performing the Coordinator role but occasionally taking on a leadership role as a Key Carrier.

• Maintains all aspects of the store, including customer service and store operations.
• Acts as the Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Manages immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Ensures Associates adhere to operational procedures and execute opening/closing procedures according to company guidelines.
• Communicates with management and Associates to set and address priorities, providing progress updates.
• Provides feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
• Promotes associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.

Who We're Looking For

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Knowledgeable about company standard software, systems, and procedures.
• Experience with merchandise flow in stores.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple people/tasks.
• Capable of multi-tasking and capable of acting quickly under challenging circumstances.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience preferred.
