Retail Jewelry Consultant

Responsibilities

• Be a knowledgeable and professional jewelry sales person
• Work as a team or as an individual to accomplish tasks
• Bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs or more and stand for long periods of time to assist customers
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked cash wrap station and all other jewelry areas
• Efficiently and accurately price merchandise and get it to the sales floor
• Use a computer and process credit card transactions
• Maintain an upbeat, professional attitude
• Conduct positive interactions with customers and fellow employees
• Contribute to meeting daily sales goals
• Help with various projects such as cleaning, restocking, setting-up merchandise displays, counting, pricing merchandise, and other tasks

Qualifications

• Trustworthy and responsible
• Professional sales person
• Great people skills, outgoing, and pleasant with excellent customer service
• Reliable and punctual
• Basic computer skills
• Use a calculator for basic math functions
• Self-motivated and organized with attention to detail
• Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-9 hour shifts)
• Bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs
• Clear communication skills (verbal and written in English)
• Previous experience in a retail jewelry environment
• Experience using a Point-Of-Sale (POS) system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
