Retail Inventory Associate – Driver
Starting wage: $14.00–$16.00 per hour. Performance-based pay increases can add up to $2.00 more per hour within your first 6 months and up to $5.00 per hour total.
About the role
Join WIS International and help top retailers accurately count inventory. No prior inventory experience is required—paid training is provided. This part-time role is ideal for those who enjoy staying active, working on their feet, and being rewarded for strong performance.
You’ll travel weekly with a team to customer locations (primarily in the home-improvement segment) across your region, with occasional overnight assignments. Employer-paid travel includes up to 4 nights a week and a meal per diem.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner.
- Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners.
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail to meet productivity goals and increase earnings.

Requirements
- At least 21 years old to qualify as a van driver; 18+ to drive a personal vehicle for business needs.
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 36 consecutive months in your state of residence.
- Minimum of three years of proven driving experience.
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment screening, including a consumer report, MVR check, and drug test.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and ability to navigate to assigned locations.
- Availability for flexible schedules, including early mornings and late nights, to meet customer commitments.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort using handheld technology and commitment to accuracy.
Physical demands
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
- Climbing ladders when needed.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
- Working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, general labor, or athletic/coaching experience are all valuable. No degree is required. Veterans, career changers, and candidates returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.
