Retail Inventory Associate – Convenience Store (Travel)

Starting wage: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. Part-time position with a consistent schedule and weekly pay.

About the role

Join WIS International and help top retailers accurately count inventory in convenience stores. This is a travel-based role with employer-paid travel up to 4 nights a week, including meal per diem and possible overnights. No prior inventory experience is required—we provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Meet productivity goals to increase earnings through our performance-based pay program.
• Travel to retail convenience store locations.
• Lead by example and demonstrate core values: Spirit, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Work environment

• Active role with most of your shift spent standing and walking for extended periods.
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Climbing ladders when needed.
• Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using handheld technology.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred experience

Convenience store background is preferred, but not required. The following backgrounds are also valuable for this role:

• Retail, stocking, merchandising, or warehouse experience.
• Customer service, cashier, or delivery driver roles.
• General labor, coaching, or athletic experience.

No degree is required. Veterans, career changers, and candidates returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.
