Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with courtesy and a smile
• Grow personal sales by hitting minimum goals and providing an exceptional customer experience
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
• Engage in conversations with customers to assist them in making buying decisions
• Demonstrate a passion for products and showcase them effectively
• Attend and participate in all Scheels product training sessions and store meetings
• Maintain a professional appearance and assist with other assigned duties
• Perform basic math calculations, read and understand simple instructions, and write simple correspondence
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings with customers and colleagues
• Show strong communication, organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Be willing to help with freight and stocking tasks as needed
• Display product usage and retrieve items from heights greater than 6 feet

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

• Heavy work: Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly
• Physical demands: Sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear

Pay

Starting wage: $17.50+/hour

Schedule

Flexible schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday. May include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available for a minimum of every other weekend. Average hours per week: 20 hours.
