About the role
The General Manager at Minnesota Cannabis Services leads high-performing teams in retail operations, ensuring excellence in customer experiences and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, coaching, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and associates to exceed operational and financial goals.
- Oversee scheduling, cash and inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance.
- Champion a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and coach Assistant GMs, preparing them for future leadership roles.
- Collaborate with corporate and cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure safety, consistency, and excellence in every facet of operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in multi-functional retail management with direct supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with scheduling, inventory systems, and financial reporting.
- A high level of integrity, personal motivation, adaptability, and sense of urgency.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information.
- Previous retail, sales and/or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position requires the ability to perform essential job functions such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly (up to 200 pounds with assistance).
- Must commit to coming to work sober. Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Minimum 21 years of age.

- Pay range between $65,000-$75,000.
