Retail Front End Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Aid the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and completing related reports.
• Maintain and adhere to store standards and company programs.
• Ensure the front-end, entrance, and exterior of the building are properly maintained.
• Provide daily tasks to Associates and ensure productivity.
• Organize and maintain office areas.
• Support the Door to Floor process and merchandising initiatives.
• Complete monthly Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) and alarm tests, ensuring all corrective actions are completed.
• Lead monthly safety meetings with store Associates and assess changes from the meetings.
• Maintain customer service standards and complete price changes as necessary.
• Coach, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store Associates.
• Perform Team Leader functions to open and close the store as needed.
• Lead donations programs and Ollie’s Army sign ups and memberships.
• Maintain proper hiring, recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of candidates to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years retail experience in a supervisory role within a mid-size to large retail or service-oriented business.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Sound judgment and effective communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and Associates.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid state issued license.
