Responsibilities
- Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
- Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
- Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
- Adhere to company standards confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise and set up and design merchandise displays.
- Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
- Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Able to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Able to interact well with customers and associates.

Pay and Schedule
- This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
- Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
- New Hire Starting Pay: $17.92 - $20.17
