Retail Framer Part Time

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Help customers shop the store and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a safe, clean, and clutter‑free environment.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Embrace and execute personal designer principles using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships and create custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready‑made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they need; keep the store well‑merchandised and in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, and serve as a role model for the organization’s vision and values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed and completed within budget.
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
• Assist with omni‑channel processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Physical Requirements

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames.
• Accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting with climate‑controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled.
• Occasional outdoor work (retrieving shopping carts, unloading trucks).
• Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Pay

$13.00 – $15.30 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.
