Retail Employee

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet all customers as a Host at the front entrance or throughout the store.
• Engage with customers to suggest solutions for their organizational challenges.
• Design and sell custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Operate the register with a focus on providing a great customer experience during checkout.
• Introduce and enroll customers in our rewards program.
• Process merchandise during early morning or evening shifts.
• Maintain the sales floor, ensuring shelves are stocked and presented according to brand standards.
• Assist with customer carryout to cars, including curbside and parking lot/garage service.
• Support cleaning routines, including dusting, restroom maintenance, and vacuuming.
• Process customer orders for curbside pickup and/or delivery.
• Organize the stockroom to support store selling efforts.
• Adhere to time expectations, performing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Actively engage with customers to solve their organizational challenges.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Minimum availability of 10-15 hours per week.
• Weekend availability required.
• Flexibility in scheduling due to the ever-changing nature of retail.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
