2020 Companies is seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialists to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.
About the role
In this role, you’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to review, schedule, and complete assignments at different retail venues within 90 miles. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you manage your schedule to complete work within established timelines, build store-level relationships, and ensure top-quality execution on every project.
Responsibilities
- Respond and remain responsible for consistent communication with field services management quickly (within 24 hours of contact).
- Keep availability updated and accurate.
- Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
- Install and build displays, end caps, and fixturing.
- Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys associated with each job/assignment before leaving the job site.
- Maintain and update displays according to planograms or client requests.
- Conduct break-fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
- Participate in early morning installations and team-based installations, providing solution feedback.
- Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Adhere to timelines for accurate timecard submission and report anomalies daily.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate and complete training and certification programs.
- Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows.
- Follow all directives as provided, executing fully and completely.
- Work closely within the shared services team to ensure goals and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, retailers, and field representatives.
- Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and leadership while representing the company.
- Ensure customer and client satisfaction according to established KPIs.
- Be open to providing and receiving feedback.
- Install, assemble, and update retail fixtures, shelving, endcaps, and displays.
- Complete retail resets, store build-outs, remodels, and display repairs.
- Follow planograms (POGs), schematics, and client-specific merchandising directives with accuracy.
- Install and service TVs, interactive displays, kiosks, and other retail display equipment.
- Update operating systems and software on display devices.
- Install and replace graphics, pricing cards, SD cards, and other marketing materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and display issues.
- Capture and upload photos to document completed work using a mobile device.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while representing the client professionally.
Requirements
- Comfortable using hand tools and technology.
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability and willingness to climb ladders up to 10 feet.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
- Willingness to travel up to 90 miles from your residence in any direction to complete service assignments.
- Must provide and use the following tools: Phillips head & flat head screwdriver, hex keys, box cutter, tape measure, microfiber cloth, 256G USB (USB-A / C adapter).
- Smartphone with a current operating system and active data plan. Must be comfortable downloading mobile apps, following digital work instructions, and uploading photos.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Flexible availability Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday availability as needed.
- Early morning and late-night availability as needed.
- Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30-day period.
- Must complete all training assignments and tasks within a designated time frame.
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
- Superior leadership skills and strong professional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions, show good judgment, and problem-solve effectively.
- Capable of working autonomously with excellent time management and reporting skills.
Skills
- Installation and merchandising experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with hand and power tool usage.
- Ability to follow planogram (POG) directives and secondary communication.
- Effective communication abilities, primarily via phone, text, and email.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for tasks such as clocking in/out, taking/uploading photos, downloading apps, and connecting to the internet.
- Ability to adjust to ever-changing tasks and work environments.

Pay
$17.50 per hour
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, with flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Hours are based on available assignments and are not guaranteed.
- Opportunities include flexible self-scheduling as well as scheduled shifts based on client and project needs.
- Occasional weekend and holiday assignments as needed.
- Early morning and late-night availability may be required.
