Retail Display Installer – Technology

About the role

2020 Companies is seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialists to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to review, schedule, and complete assignments at different retail venues within 90 miles.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and update retail fixtures, shelving, endcaps, and displays
• Complete retail resets, store build-outs, remodels, and display repairs
• Follow planograms (POGs), schematics, and client-specific merchandising directives with accuracy
• Install and service TVs, interactive displays, kiosks, and other retail display equipment
• Update operating systems and software on display devices
• Install and replace graphics, pricing cards, SD cards, and other marketing materials
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and display issues to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Capture and upload photos to document completed work using a mobile device
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while representing the client professionally

Requirements

• Comfortable using hand tools and technology
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle
• Ability and willingness to climb ladders up to 10 feet
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs
• Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day
• Willingness to travel up to 90 miles from your residence in any direction to complete service assignments
• Must provide and use the following tools: Phillips head & flat head screwdriver, hex keys, box cutter, tape measure, microfiber cloth, 256G USB (USB-A / C adapter)
• Smartphone with a current operating system and active data plan

Qualifications

Must be 18 or older, authorized to work in the United States, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Effective communication abilities, primarily via phone, text, and email
• Ability to adjust to the ever-changing variety of tasks and work environments
• Ability to use a smartphone for various tasks, such as clocking in and out, taking and uploading photos, downloading applications, and connecting to the internet
• Superior leadership skills and strong professional communication and presentation skills

Pay

$16.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, flexible schedule with assignments scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please note: Hours are based on available assignments and are not guaranteed
