Retail Department Supervisor

Role Overview

Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage merchandise flow by orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing tasks.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing procedures.
• Ensure merchandise is accurately tagged, hung, and secured.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and signage standards.
• Monitor team productivity, provide coaching, and support training needs.
• Promote safety, compliance, and store policies, including recycling and waste programs.
• Support shrink reduction initiatives and encourage credit and loyalty programs.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members to set priorities.
• Maintain a safe environment and uphold organizational standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Team-oriented with the ability to respond to unexpected situations and train others.

Pay

Starting pay of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour, depending on qualifications.
