Retail Department Stock - Footwear/Shoes

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely delivery of goods to the selling floor.
• Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer to provide the best customer experience.
• Receive and process receipts and transfers.
• Replenish selling floor daily.
• Maintain appearance of the selling floor and stock room.
• Afford assistance to customers and sell merchandise as business dictates.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and paperwork, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain an awareness of advertised merchandise.

Job Requirements

• Ability and desire to actively engage customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Prior stock and/or selling experience preferred.
• Communication: written, verbal, and by telephone with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Maintain an awareness of advertised merchandise.
• Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS terminal and telxon.
• Ability to work well with the public and available to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
