Retail Department Manager - Nike Pottstown

About the role

As a Nike Department Manager (referred to as a Coach), you’ll be the face of NIKE, guiding customers in making the best decisions while fostering a high-energy, athlete-focused environment. You’ll lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive store growth, and build community partnerships. Your leadership will inspire your team to create positive moments, ensuring they feel included and supported.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure seamless store operations and high customer service standards.
• Attract, assess, and onboard new team members to maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Equip employees with the tools and training needed to succeed in their roles.
• Drive store performance by managing critical metrics, including budgeting, sales, and people leadership.
• Oversee the product lifecycle, from stockroom management to visual merchandising and sales floor execution.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, fun, and community engagement while representing Nike’s global brand.

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods (with or without reasonable accommodations).
• Proven conflict resolution skills and experience in employee coaching and counseling.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Schedule

Full-time position requiring 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
