Retail Customer Service Cashier
About the Role
At Love’s, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces while providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers. They perform various duties depending on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience is required—we provide training.
Responsibilities
- General customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
