Retail Customer Service Cashier
Welcome to Love’s! At Love’s, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean, welcoming spaces while providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers. They perform a variety of duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are essential. No experience is required—we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Perform general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions, offering additional sales opportunities, and following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Maintain cleanliness in your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as needed.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
