About the role
Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, the Customer Service Associate engages customers in the Cashier Area and Club Desk, ensuring excellent service throughout the checkout process. Responsibilities include processing returns, exchanges, gift cards, and promotions while maintaining a clean and organized front-end area.
Responsibilities
- Engage with every customer to deliver world-class service and build lasting relationships.
- Greet and assist customers in Front-End areas (Cashier Area, Club Desk).
- Execute front-end operations: returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, and coupons.
- Maintain premier stock and visual merchandising in Front-End areas to enhance sales and customer experience.
- Ensure all Front-End equipment and supplies are operational and well-maintained.
- Process cash, credit/debit card payments, and gift cards securely and accurately per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Answer product questions, provide store information, and direct customers to appropriate team members.
- Stay updated on merchandising promotions and marketing events to maintain strong promotional presence.
- Promote and educate customers on products and services offerings.
- Provide feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and professional Front-End area at all times.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across all departments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Retail sales, customer service, or similar experience preferred.
- Strong listening, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, move throughout the store, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to quickly learn business acumen with training.
- Strong self-accountability and proactive drive for results.
Pay
$15.00 - $17.00 USD hourly
