Retail Customer Host Associate - Fountain Store

About the role

The Associate I, Retail Customer Host will greet customers as they enter and exit the store, providing a welcoming first impression and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm smile and a genuine greeting.
• Share relevant store information with customers, such as where items are located, discounts, and upcoming events.
• Direct customers to specific areas within the store.
• Manage customer flow during busy times.
• Check customers' receipts to verify purchases and ensure accuracy.
• File appropriate reports with the Risk department.
• Use handheld scanners and devices to monitor transactions and report incidents via Think Risk.
• Show keen observation skills to monitor people and identify suspicious behavior.
• Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
• Work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Retail Store door attendant experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
• Basic technology proficiency to use Microsoft, Think Risk, and other technology.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns calmly and professionally.
• Ability to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
• Physical abilities to stand for extended periods, especially in busy environments.

Pay
