Position Purpose and Objectives
The Retail Collections Adjuster IV's primary responsibility is to contact and manage delinquent clients, ensuring loan resolutions. They also handle escalated client calls and collaborate with various departments like Compliance and Legal.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Contact clients for loan resolution from 45 days past due through liquidation
- Manage assigned queues and recommend strategies such as legal action, repossession, restructuring, or liquidation
- Meet with clients to understand financial hardships
- Resolve complex collection issues and document processes
- Audit data related to the Collections Monitoring Scorecard
- Work with Legal and Compliance on procedural changes and assist in litigation
- Identify and analyze portfolio delinquency trends and communicate findings to management
- Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements and assist in implementing new regulations
- Model and foster behaviors that align with the Bank's values and corporate culture
- Perform additional duties as assigned
