Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with courtesy and a smile
• Grow personal sales by hitting minimum goals and providing an exceptional customer experience
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
• Engage in conversations with customers to assist them in making purchasing decisions
• Demonstrate a passion for products and showcase them effectively
• Attend and participate in all Scheels product training sessions and store meetings
• Maintain a professional appearance and assist with other assigned duties
• Perform basic math calculations, read and understand simple instructions, and write simple correspondence
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Show strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Help with freight and stocking tasks as needed
• Display product usage and retrieve items from heights greater than 6 feet

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

• Heavy work: Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay

Starting wage at $17.50+/hour

Schedule

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of every other weekend. Average hours per week is 20 hours.
