Retail Clerk (Full Time)

About the role

The Retail Clerk is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Retail Store. They exceed guest expectations by offering suggestions for the perfect gift to create memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all merchandise is stocked properly and maintain cleanliness and neatness of store fixtures and displays.
• Perform money transactions accurately.
• Use proper phone etiquette.
• Absorb and assist guests in all phases of the operation, greeting and giving a warm farewell.
• Showcase complete knowledge of all products available.
• Upsell or suggest additional products or items to guests, impacting outlet revenue.
• Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Deliver service in a consistent, personalized, and gracious manner.
• Follow and support the service commitment and core values.
• Must have the ability to work with others to create attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
• Lifting requirements up to 25 lbs.
• Carrying of objects weighting up to 50 lbs.
• Stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, seeing, hearing, speaking to guests.

• Ability to work with others to create attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.
