Job Summary
As a Retail Cashier, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across PayPal Park. You’ll handle point-of-sale transactions, assist with merchandise setup and restocking, and provide knowledgeable, friendly service to fans purchasing sports and concert memorabilia. This fast-paced, high-energy role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic event environments and are passionate about live entertainment and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Handles credit card transactions using the Point of Sales system.
- Responds to guest’s needs and requests, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques, and maintains service areas.
- Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction.
- Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing.
- Responds to guest needs and requests.
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
- Follows cash handling guidelines.
- Adheres to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook.
- Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities.
- Communicates guest issues to management.
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
- P Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process card transactions quickly and accurately.
- Set up and break down merchandise booths before and after events.
- Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays.
- Restock inventory during events to ensure product availability.
- Assist customers with product selection and sizing.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth booth operations.
- Follow venue-specific protocols and security procedures.
- Support merchandise logistics across multiple venues as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- Able to reach with hands and arms for one-third to two-thirds or more of the designated shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
- Maintain a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counts.
- Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume event environments.
- Uphold brand standards and represent merchandise partners positively.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Follow all safety and operational guidelines set by each venue.
