Responsibilities
- Facilitate retail sales, including customer assistance and follow-up.
- Increase average dollar sale and units sold per transaction.
- Stock and maintain the appearance of sales floor and merchandise displays.
- Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.
- Follow established regulations, guidelines and procedures related to the sale of alcohol and or tobacco.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Demonstrated money-handling and math skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register.
- Must obtain and maintain a current State Responsible Vendor Permit.
- Must obtain and maintain a current Parish Alcohol Beverage Control License.
Qualifications
The skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 1-year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
