Job Summary
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking a Retail & Catering Lead to work in a synergistic and educational environment providing customer service and related activities in campus catering operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead Dining Services staff in the setup, preparation and service of catering, student center food court operations and all other Dining Services locations.
- Game plan daily operation based on the priorities of the day, communicating with management, staff and the customer to insure operational standards.
- Direct the setup, delivery of service and break down of service.
- Maintain proper sanitation standards.
- Evaluate quality of service to guests, recommending changes to Assistant Director Dining Services.
- Troubleshoot dining and kitchen concerns, such as food shortages, timeliness of food deliveries, etc.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in managing food service operations
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
