Retail Cashier Part Time
About the Role
At Love’s, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean spaces while providing friendly service. They deliver fast, accurate customer service and may perform various duties based on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork. No prior experience is necessary—we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Perform general customer service duties, including assisting customers with locating items, answering product and service questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions, offering additional sales opportunities, and adhering to all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Maintain cleanliness in your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as needed.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
