Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Duties

• Greet every customer warmly and provide a positive checkout experience.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and coupon transactions with precision.
• Maintain accountability for your cash drawer and complete balancing procedures at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Promote Ace Rewards and other store programs when appropriate.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and customer-ready.
• Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Assist with general store cleanliness and operational tasks as needed.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment.

Requirements

Must Have

• Previous retail cashier experience or demonstrated proficiency with cash handling and POS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment. While most duties are performed indoors, you may occasionally encounter varying temperatures or work near standard retail equipment. We prioritize a safe work environment and provide training on all necessary safety protocols.
