Retail Brand Experience

About the role

Avocado is currently seeking a FULL-TIME Retail Brand Experience Associate in Corte Madera, CA. This is a non-exempt position with competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $24.56 per hour, plus potential monthly bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team and individually to meet and exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise; stay updated with all products and procedures.
• Bring a customer-centered approach to executing on sales goals.
• Accept and implement coaching and feedback to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• Assist guests with resolving customer experience issues and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Record and relay recurring customer feedback and insights to internal teams such as tech, marketing, design, and product to improve the customer experience.
• Collaborate with teams such as customer experience, production, and logistics to maintain a low return rate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Digital

• Engage in daily digital sales activities, including conducting sales through chats, phones, and virtual appointments.
• Follow up with customers through the CRM platform and ensure a wholesome experience by being a resource to them.
• Assist team with managing the daily workload of responding to customer emails.

What You Bring

• Customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• An amazing attitude, a passion for learning, and a desire to be part of a growing business.
• Experience responding to live chats and using a CRM platform (such as TalkDesk, Intercom, Kustomer, etc.).
• Experience tracking KPIs or Sales Goals.
• Passion for our brand's values of healthy living, environmental awareness, and social responsibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for people.
• A positive attitude and possess a no-task-too-small mentality.
• A self-starter with a resilient, entrepreneurial spirit.
• Eager to be at the forefront of a fast-paced and growing brand.
• Mac and Google suite proficiency.
• Comfortable taking phone and video appointments.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Café experience; training experience; experience running branded events is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Mobility: The ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Movement: The ability to execute repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; including reaching or bending repeatedly.
• Move: Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Lift: Capability to lift up to 200 pounds using lifting aids and/or equipment.
• Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office machines such as printers and tablets.
• Communicate: This role frequently communicates with other team members to update on the status of a task.
