Retail Banker I - Lake Worth Road (Bilingual Spanish or Creole Preferred)

About the role

The Retail Banker I is a customer liaison that delivers TD’s Brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions/needs. This role contributes to the achievement of business objectives that enable growth through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD.

Responsibilities

• Utilize product knowledge to identify and educate customers on TD products and services, or refer them to appropriate team members or internal Bank partners.
• Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions or referrals.
• Resolve customer issues, errors, and problems independently or escalate when necessary.
• Manage customer relationships by maintaining a positive experience and fostering trust through educational content and tools.
• Perform a variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, while adhering to operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
• Support the team by participating in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities.
• Act as a brand champion both internally and externally, promoting TD's values and initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity, or equivalent demonstrated through education, military experience, or volunteering.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in customer conversations and educate them on products and services.
• Demonstrated organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision-making and effective problem-solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License (preferred).

Qualifications

• Full proficiency in job-related training to perform a range of activities.
• Active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).

Pay

$22.50 - $29.00 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
