About the role

The Retail Banker I role is integral to delivering TD’s Brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions/needs. This role contributes to the achievement of business objectives that enable growth through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes product knowledge to identify and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
• Engages in customer conversations to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice.
• Monitors customer transactions and escalates issues as necessary.
• Works collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintains a professional demeanor and follows all operational policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity.
• Ability to complete teller training upon hire.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Notary license preferred.
